Strictly Come Dancing 2016: Semi-Finals!
Our Strictly Final line-up is finally revealed!

After an intense Semi-Final with our couples doing two dances each for the first time, we now know who will be competing for the Glitterball in next week's final.

Around The Dancefloor

Heading For The Exit

Bottom of the leaderboard this week were Claudia and AJ. Many had predicted that one of them and Ore & Joanne would be most likely to leave this week as neither have been able to find the consistency of Danny or Louise.

Claudia and AJ performed a Rumba and Quickstep and were awarded a combined 73 points. Their Rumba let the pair down with the judges feeling like it lacked chemistry, but they redeemed themselves with an impressive quickstep that earned them 38 points. However, it wasn't enough for them to escape the bottom two.

Joining the pair in the dance off for the first time were favourite Danny Mac and his partner Oti Mabuse. Despite scoring a total of 76 points for their two dances, clearly the public didn't enjoy their routines as much as usual. Combined with the return to form of Ore, this left them having to dance again for a place in the final. Their American Smooth narrowly missed out on a clean sweep of 10's, as Darcy only awarded it a 9, whereas there salsa scored a little lower with 37.

After the dance off, the judges unanimously voted to save Danny, who will now join Louise and Ore in next week's final.

Going For The Glitterball

Topping the leaderboard this week were Ore and Joanne. After some inconsistent weeks of not being able to hit their previous highs, it was a thundering return to form for the pair, who scored an impressive 77 points for their Quickstep and Argentine Tango. They were close to a maximum for their Quickstep, with only a surprising 8 from Craig preventing it – which Len did not agree with.

Finishing in joint third place on the night and making it to the final without a single appearance in the dance off, were Louise Thompson and Kevin Clifton. The pair have been incredibly consistent since week one and it's no surprise to see them in the final line-up. On Saturday, the couple stumbled slightly as her routines lacked the wow factor you might expect in a semi-final. She performed the Tango and the Samba and was awarded 73 points, the same as Claudia.

The Final

We now know that one of Danny, Ore or Louise will take home the Glitterball next week. The three couples have been the stand out performers over the course of the series and it was predicted many weeks ago that they would make up the Final line-up.

In week two, we tipped Ore as a potential dark horse in the competition and it turns out we were right! However, the public haven't always agreed, so a lot is relying on the choreography of Joanne heading into the final. If they have the wow-factor, they'll be hard to stop. So we're going to put our neck on the line again and say that Ore will come good for the final and take the trophy!
