Let's Live How We Dance
Levi’s taps in to the growing interest in Dance this Autumn, fired up by Strictly Come Dancing. It's not the first time that Levi's has used a dance themed advert to position its brand.

The new advertising campaign is part of the “Live in Levi’s” campaign. The commercial "Circles" features a song by Jain Makeba celebrating individuality, inclusiveness, and connectedness through dance and music.

Dance Promotes Inclusiveness

The advert features a variety of groups of people from all over the world dancing in circles - hence the use of the song. They are all enjoying the music and having fun, regardless of their age, race, religion, gender or sexuality. “Men, women, young, old, rich, poor, gay, straight.”

Anyone can Dance

Interestingly, the opening sequences features two seniors, a lady and her partner, taking centre stage, and continues with assorted groups of dancers from all walks of life, enjoying music and dance.

You're never too old or too young to dance; as the Levi commercial celebrates.

Dance is International

The advert features a variety of dance styles, including Line dancing. It's called Dabke Dance, an Arab folk dance popular in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Northern Saudi Arabia, Syrian coast, and among the Assyrians of Iraq. It is performed at weddings and joyous occasions.

The advert series also includes dances from across the world, including Rockabilly, Dandies and Bhangra, highlighting the cultural diversity and pride that comes from dance.

Join the “Circle” - Learn to Dance and Have Fun!
