Salsa is a form of ballroom dancing that originated on the streets of Cuba. It's s a good one to learn if you're going with your partner. It helps you connect with one another and it's all about having fun.

Salsa classes are usually very social events, held in clubs and bars, so there's often a energetic and vibrant atmosphere. It's definitely a way to add some fun to your week.

Bollywood

Bollywood dancing offers a vibrant and colourful experience. Bollywood dance classes incorporate the traditional style of Indian dance but also draw from modern influences such as disco dancing. Classes choreograph to music that is used in traditional indian folk and popular culture.

It's a style that is fun for all ages and it's risen in popularity in recent years thanks to the success of the Bollywood film industry. It's a great dance style for fitness and also gives you a chance to learn about Indian culture.

Belly dancing

The West Asian dance is a big hit with women. It's the perfect excuse to get dressed up in flamboyant and vibrant outfits.

Belly dancing is an enjoyable, empowering experience. It's also physical enough that it provides a challenging workout and it's especially good for losing weight, particularly on the belly.

The style is very hip and pelvic focused. It's also non impact which means it's suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes!

Belly dance classes are intense, but great fun and provide a great way to socialise and make new friends.

Kizomba

Kizomba is a fairly new dance style that was created in Angola in 1989. However despite being in it's infancy, it's spread across the globe quickly.

With catchy music, Kizomba is a sensual and stimulating dance style. It's a partner dance with a lot of wavy movement, smooth and slow.

It's a great way of getting exercise without putting too much strain on the joints. It does require a good degree of flexibility in the knees, as dancers do bob up and down a lot.

Bachata

Bachata dancing shares its name with Bachata music. It originated in the Dominican Republic, but it has quickly caught on and is danced all over the world.

It shares similarities with Salsa, the main difference being there are less turn patterns in Bachata. However it is considered to be a fusion of other popular Latin styles.

Alike kizomba, Bachata is a very sensual dance with a lot of close contact. It is typically a slow and smooth dance, but does pick up in speed for brief moments in the routine.
